Training ideas for your clients | Band Drills
Ok Trainer’s.. this drill is one of my favourite ways to kick up some partner drills.
They will be sweating and feeling it all over in no time, it works every muscle and really kicks their heart rate up too. Make sure to use a strong band for this drill, I prefer the ones with the safety sleeve they are strong and if they snap your clients aren’t losing an eye.
Now there are a million ways you can do these drills, in the video below I just show you 3 that we did in our warm up this morning. Get creative with it and you can kick up the intensity of these drills by adding in weights, medicine balls, body bars, kettle bells…whatever. They could do jump squats, lunges, cross overs, power jumps the list goes on and on. Then in the last drill I doing in this video I was calling out for them to drop and do a tuck now you can call out anything you want, keep it fresh and change it up. Start off with some easier drills so that you have something to work them up too. Keep them interested and excited about whats ahead with your training, your clients will love you for your versatility.
Make sure the person in the back is in a low squat or lunge, you have to stay on them … don’t let anyone slack so you know they are getting the most out of your training. This drill works both clients and can be done at the beginning, ,middle or end of your session. You can even do a whole hour of different drills with these bands really. If your outside try doing these up a hill…haha talk about INTENSE!!!
Have fun with this one and let me know how your clients do!!!
