Love my New Shoes!! [MYSPORTS-WEARTIP]

I got the coolest looking shoes the other day so I thought I would do a review on how they hold up.

I have a lot of shoes and love a lot of different brands for different reasons.  The shoes I got yesterday  were Brooks, they got this whole new line out called The Pure Project and it’s pretty awesome. I haven’t bought Brooks in years…but wow I feel like Im on little clouds in these shoes. The lateral support on the sides of these shoes for all my stop and goes in class and at the gym works real great.  The padding on the bottom as you can see is all broken in sections which feels great on your feet, they give you that bare foot freedom kind of feeling.  Kind of like those toe shoes but not as creepy. haha

The colours ROCK..  I want every different colour and style that they have.. I got purple this time but I want to pick up those green ones next, they have even more colours then you can see in the pic below. These shoes are so light but still really supportive and as professional trainer who’s on my feet all day doing all sorts of crazy stuff… comfort is number one for me and these definitely passed the test in that department.  I find myself even trekking around in them at home hours after training cause they feel so good. I love the shoe laces and the strap that goes across the top of the foot for extra support. I did find they run a little small, I am usually a 7 but in these shoes I got a 7.5  and they fit perfect!

I got mine at The Running Factory on Wayndotte and Prado, I love going there for all my shoes.  It’s important when your training as extreme as we do to have the right shoes.  Back, knee, ankle, joints and foot pain can be caused from just wearing the wrong shoes on your feet. You can also get injured easily if you are in the wrong shoes.. what you wear for running or walking is not always the right shoe for Adrenaline or any other extreme training.  So going to a good shoe store that measures your feet, studies how you walk and takes the time to listen to what you need them for is super important.  Your feet do everything for you… move you wherever you want to go and really should never be ignored or cheaped out on when it comes to purchasing shoes for them.  If it be sprints, burpees or power jumps.. treat them with care and get into the right shoe for your feet and the sport your enduring.

Until my next “Sports-Wear Tip” kick some butt out there in your training and don’t ignore those feet!!
