Sprinkles on Everything | Superfoods

It’s time to start getting in the habit of sprinkling these super foods on EVERYTHING!

All your christmas baked goods… LOAD them up!!! As you see in the pic here I sprinkled 3 types of seeds into a holiday favourite.  Now they are packed with protein and add another great texture!!

We are so fortunate that we live in a world that everything is at our fingertips.  We can really get our hands on everything and besides being thankful for just that, we need to take advantage of it.  You should have a constant supply of these seeds on hand in your home or even at work.  You can pick them up  at most grocery or bulk stores and should become a staple in your home.

Super Seeds = Super Foods

  • pumpkin seeds
  • hemp hearts
  • chia seeds
  • flax seeds
  • sesame seeds
  • Goji berries
  • Cinnamon 

To get in the habit of using them I would say the best thing to do is have them in mason jars right on your counter top so you see it and you use it.  You can sprinkle them on almost everything and I think add a great texture to everything I eat.  These seeds have amazing amounts of nutriants and minerals that our body needs and never gets enough of in our day. With the way our foods are grown/raised these days they are packed with steroids and chemicals. (unless your eating organically) So your body needs these extra nutrients and most of these seeds have more packed in them then all our veggies.  Its incredible really what they do for us, along with beans and grains we can get what our bodies need.

A great goal for all of us is to eat more of these super foods, we are aware of them so start eating them.

  • wraps &  salads
  • tuna 
  • soups
  • pastas
  • stir-frys
  • rice
  • morning grains
  • pancakes
  • protein shakes
  • NRG bars
  • egg white omelette
  • stews

It’s endless what you can sprinkle these superfoods on just get in the habit of and feel the amazing effects from it!
