Homemade Raw Almond Milk

RAW ALMOND MILK DIRECTIONS:

Making homemade almond milk is simple. First, soak 1 cup raw almonds in good, filtered water overnight. Soaking almonds unleashes their full nutritional benefit and makes them easier to digest. After soaking, puree almonds and water in a high-speed blender (Like BlencTech or VitaMix) for 1.5 minutes.

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 dates (optional for sweetness)
1/2 tsp vanilla (optional for flavor)
Strain the blended almond mixture using a cheesecloth or other strainer.
Make sure you purchase raw almonds. Look at it this way, if you take two almonds and one is raw and the other was roasted and you plant them….the raw almond will give you a tree, the roasted will give you nothing. You ask why?? Its simple, the roasted almond is dead…. When they are roasting almonds in temperature that reaches up to 400F ½ of nutrients in it are killed.
You can store the milk in a glass container up to 4 days in your fridge. Its great for baking, protein shakes and making creamy oatmeal in the morning.
Super and easy and simple PLUS you control everything that goes into your milk…no preservatives or hidden additive’s! ENJOY!
