Apricots

Apricots are loaded with the best cancer preventative known to mankind beta-carotene. These little ornage-gold beauties contain more potassium and magnesium that you can throw a banana at, which help supply us with energy, stamina and endurance. It is also an excellent blood builder, containing a large amount of iron. It also contains stacks of silicon to help your hair shine and your skin glow.

Apricots are also rich in powerful antioxidants, such as Lycopene, helping to promote wellness and strengthen the immune system. These healthy fruits are also a good source of fiber, beneficial for healthy digestion.

Studies show that eating apricots rich in lycopene help reduce the risk of men developing prostrate cancer. They also contain vitamins and minerals A, B, B17, C, E, Beta-carotene,Potassium, Magnesium, Iron, Copper, Calcium, Silicon, Boron, Lycopene and Mallic acid…is that enough?

Strawberries

Good for overall good health; building blood; boosting the immune system; slowing down the signs of ageing; overall skin. Contain vitamins and minerals A, B, C, E, beta-carotene, folic acid, niacin

Calcium, potassium, iron, sodium, magnesium, phosphorus, sulphur, zinc, selenium, copper, and

Ellagic acid. A study published in the journal of Agriculture and food chemistry showed the antioxidant capability of components of strawberries significantly inhibited the proliferation of human liver cancer cells.

Chai Seeds

The chia seeds are “super” because, like a superfruit, they deliver the maximum amount of nutrients with minimum calories. They have several of the same benefits as the more well-known “super seed” flax, but unlike flax seed, you don’t need to grind them to reap the health benefits. The nutritional benefits of chia include fiber, omega fatty acids, calcium, antioxidants and much more – even protein!

Grapes

Grapes add a beautiful sweetness to a juice, they are also a great snack if those sugar cravings kick in. They are very high in antioxidants particularly the dark variety. The University of Wisconsin found that drinking 3 glasses of purple grape juice per day reduced platelet aggregation by 40% (platelet aggregation increases the risk of blood clotting). They found purple grape juice to be 66% more effective at treating heart disease than red wine and as effective as aspirin for people at risk of heart disease.

Pomegranate

The concentrated level of antioxidants in pomegranate juice, particularly polyphenols, may block or slow down the buildup of cholesterol in your arteries, according to MayoClinic. Antioxidants protect the heart by reducing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also known as LDL or the “bad” cholesterol. Research by Ahmad Esmailzadeh, published in the “International Journal for Vitamin and Nutrition Research” in 2006, revealed that consumption of concentrated pomegranate juice may reduce total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, as well as decrease the risk of heart disease in type 2 diabetic patients who have high blood levels of fat and cholesterol.

Pomegranate juice may also help improve sexual performance and fertility. Research by C.P. Forest, revealed that pomegranate juice improves erections in men with erectile dysfunction. This may be due, in part, to the effect of pomegranate juice on nitric oxide, a substance that enables smooth muscles in the walls of blood vessels — such as in the penis — to relax, widen and increase blood flow. Research by L.J. Ignarro, published in “Nitric Oxide” in 2006, demonstrated that pomegranate juice has potent antioxidant activity that protects nitric oxide from being destroyed and augments its biological action on smooth muscle cells in blood vessels.

Watermelon

Lycopene helps to minimize risks of strokes and other ailments like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, colon cancer and asthma. Watermelon is an important addition for a low-fat, low-cholesterol diet.

Watermelon is rich in antioxidants that help to prevent kidney stones, cancers and cardiac ailments.

Another benefit is that watermelon is a great source of potassium, which helps to regulate blood pressure levels keeping your heart healthy. Watermelon juice is essential as a preventive against bone loss. A watermelon diet is an excellent source of energy because it contains Vitamin B. It can offer more nutrients per calorie as it mainly made of water and contains very few calories. Watermelon seeds are rich sources of protein and micro and macro-nutrients like calcium, iron, potassium, zinc and phosphorus. Watermelon juice helps to lower risks of age-related macular degeneration that may lead to loss of vision in elders.

Nectarine

This delicious summer juicy fruit is a member of the peach family. It blends well with other fruits such as mango to make a yummy smoothie. Nectarines are anti-cancer health promoters. Good for stomach disorders; general health promoter and natural energizer . They also contain vitamins and minerals  A B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, C, beta-carotene, folic acid, Calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, phosphorus, potassium, copper, chromium, selenium.
