AXFIT SAMPLE BOOT CAMP WAIVER

Participant Release of Liability and Assumption of Rick Agreement

Waivers are important to use. If you are operating your own group fitness classes, you should get one or at least talk to your insurance company to see if they want you to have one. I’ve never had an issue in all my years of training, but it’s just good piece of mind to know i’m covered if some unforeseeable incident did happen.

I always carry waivers with me and have them ready for new clients. I usually just have a few in the last pages of my clip board. Once they are filled out I put them in a folder I have at home.

I have found that waivers for some reason also leave the clients feeling more a ease. Its simply things like having a waiver ready that shows you are a professional, organized,  and have everything covered! It’s also a opportunity when they are filling it out to crack some jokes about how hard your training is….that it’s so hard you need a waiver!

If your using my waiver as a base, I highly recommend checking with your local certification organization or your insurer if it full-proof. I am certified by CAN-FIT PRO (the Canadian fitness association) and they also provide my insurance for group training. When I made this waiver, I had someone from the insurer take a look over this waiver to make sure its good. This is not something they usually charge for, since it is protecting them as well.
