Raw Natural Protein Bars [RECIPE]
ALL Natural – Raw Energy Bars You can Eat anytime – anywhere – every damn day!
This recipe is so easy and you don’t need a food processor so its super simple for anyone!
Ok so CK and I make these bars so we had to share them with you. This is our very first cooking video but we plan on doing many more. This recipe CK puts together is a protein bar he’s made for years then we added a few things that Nevianna suggested and they turned out sooo good and absolutely so easy to make too. They are chewy and you will crave them..but thats ok because they are packed with everything healthy for your body.
Next time your out stop at the bulk barn grab these ingredients and get creative… you can add whatever you like really… sometimes we make them without the berries so its more of a chocolate-nutty tasting bar. Always use the apricots because they help with binding it all together and they are really good for you. Keep them natural though and if you use chocolate try these cocoa nibs out they are natural chocolate no sugar or milk added.
Also chop your own nuts and flax seeds up (we forgot to chop our flax). All the oils that are in the nuts and seed have excellent vitamins for you, so if you buy them already chopped you lose all those oils and they end up in the bag or bins that they are stored in. Toss them in a magic bullet and keep those vitamins for yourself!
You can always add protein powder if you would like. I always try to get my protein intake through real foods… never been a huge fan of powders and pills. Really these bars are so versatile just make sure when you do your final mix if they seem to wet add a bit more dry and vis versa.

Quick Fact for ya!!
Dried Apricots Organic Vs. Regular If you look closely at the label on your non-organic apricots you will find SO2 listed as an ingredient . This refers to sulphur dioxide which is used to help the fruit retain it’s colour. This process is banned in organic production. The lack of this additive is what gives organic dried apricots it’s brown colour and caramel taste. Give them a try they are yummy!
