Burpees on a SUP Board ?

 

If you thought doing burpees on land was hard, YOU have to try them on a SUP Board!!   It’s incredible what you can actually do on a board, we had an incredible SUP season here at Adrenaline Urban Surf, everyone loving all the fitness classes.  It really hits every single muscle in  your body along with building a great sense of balance and flexibility.

Depending on where you live you may have missed out on the SUP season this summer but if you get a chance to try it on vacation or if you live some place warm year round then don’t wait another minute!   This sport is absolutely unbelievable.  Mentally, physically and emotionally, it takes you to another place and the workout you get from even just the paddling alone is awesome.   For anyone with bad knees, joints, etc then what a great option for you.  A way to work your core, legs, upper body and get your heart rate up with no impact on you at all.

A pushup, a sit-up or even a simple squat is 10 times harder on a SUP board, think of the results you can have when you mix the training into the different ways you can paddle on y our board. Check out the short videos to see how some of these simple moves are done!
